And now into quantum… a person might be a dynamic probability field of possible selves where a deterministic wave of probabilities becomes more evident which brings us to self awareness, which one i’m more likely to do and based on our personality pattern either we chose to go with it, against it or ignore it.
So human free will lies in the capability that we have to notice our reinforcement loops, or as I say “If you like it, embrace it and brace for the consequences. If you hate it, deface it and bring a new face.”
The moment we recognize a recurring pattern, we become conscious participants in our own behavioral wave. From there, we can reinforce it, oppose it, redesign it, or slowly reshape it through repetition and intention.
Maybe that’s what free will truly is:
not freedom from influence, but the capacity to consciously redirect it. Which will eventually drive our free will as the substance of change.
Damn I love this, so in that sense we’re deterministically flexible, like behaviorally heteroflexibles, yes we are what we are and we owe it to the first 10-15 years of childhood, but we can chose who we become.
Physics are on our side as the reality appears to be less deterministic than before.
