Changing the server address in

~.local/share/data/Nextcloud/nextcloud.cfg
on Linux

User\AppData\Local\Nextcloud\nextcloud.cfg
on Windows

  1. Close nextcloud client
  2. Search the file “nextcloud.cfg”
  3. Look for the line:
    0\url= ” ”
  4. Replace the URL between the commas with the new server address
  5. Save File
  6. Restart Nextcloud
