Endless landscape with AI and GAN

0

So this amazing code brings you to incorporate several landscapes onto a unlimited background, it has also been tested with interiors.

                     Summary
We develop a method to generate infinite high-resolution images with diverse and complex content. It is based on a perfectly equivariant generator with synchronous interpolations in the image and latent spaces. Latent codes, when sampled, are positioned on the coordinate grid, and each pixel is computed from an interpolation of the nearby style codes. We modify the AdaIN mechanism to work in such a setup and train the generator in an adversarial setting to produce images positioned between any two latent vectors. At test time, this allows for generating complex and diverse infinite images and connecting any two unrelated scenes into a single arbitrarily large panorama. Apart from that, we introduce LHQ: a new dataset of 90k high-resolution nature landscapes. We test the approach on LHQ, LSUN Tower and LSUN Bridge and outperform the baselines by at least 4 times in terms of quality and diversity of the produced infinite images.

LG PF1500 Stuck on On Off Loop

Thanks to this post: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/lg-pf1500-stuck-in-on-off-loop.2754641/
I managed to fix my LED projector, the device suddenly began an On/Off cycle after a few minutes being turned on, with less than 7000hrs on the lamp I suspected there was something else going on but didn’t know what, to my surprise after finding the post, it turned out to be a burned Inductor.

Got it from mouser.mx “IHLP5050FDER1R0M8A” for about 7 USD, removed it from the old Inductor from PCB and soldered the new one.

To my surprise everything works great now.

Before:

Before, you can clearly see the 1R0 Inductor burnt on the top.
After the Inductor was removed and new solder was added
With the new soldered part
With the new Inductor, working great

On a side note, I noticed that the projector heats less than before, I cannot tell why however I noticed that the fans run now smoothly without having to go manually to set the energy mode to Minimum again.

Arduino MKR1000 – Iot Update Firmware First time setup

So you bought an Arduino MKR1000 and would like to quick start making some experiments, unfortunatedly it’s no so quick since it seems that the firmware that the boards use is so outdated that even Iot Arduino Cloud service cannot detect them and throws the following error after trying the first time setup over Iot Cloud Services (https://create.arduino.cc/iot/devices):

If that’s the problem, or you just want to update your MKR1000, fear not and follow the next steps.

  1. Make sure you have IDE 1.8.13 at least which you can download from here: https://downloads.arduino.cc/arduino-1.8.13-windows.exe
  2. Install and once you launc it, make sure to go to TOOLS/MANAGE LIBRARIES

3. Type wifi101 on the searchbox and INSTALL:

4. Once installed, go to FILE/EXAMPLES/WIFI101/Firmware Updater:

5. Upload the sketch after selecting your board and proper ports on TOOLS Menu

6. Once uploaded the board should be ready for the update

7. Now go to TOOLS/WiFi101/WiFiNINA Firmware updater

8. Click on Test Connection with the proper port and it should say “Test Successful” if everything is working

9. Now select “Update Firmware”, then the process should start

10. Once the update has finished, you should see the following message “The firmware has been updated”

11. Close your Arduino IDE and head over to: https://create.arduino.cc/iot/devices

12. You should see a Dialog like this once the device has been detected again (Make sure to have the Arduino CreateAgent Plugin Installed Firefox and Chrome):

13. Follow the steps and wait for the website to configure your device.

(If you need to check your firmware version you can use and upload the following sketch (Remember to open TOOLS/Serial Monitor) to make sure to see the version: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/CheckWiFi101FirmwareVersion
