Build a complete production pipeline for an animated film, including animation tests, character sheets, imageboards, color keys, and art direction, with a team of artists new to both animation and filmmaking.

We set high creative and technical standards for the illustrators, introducing them to animation techniques and a streamlined CG anime pipeline. This enabled rapid progress in layout, genga, and doga stages. By utilizing free tools across the team and transitioning to digital 2D workflows with Cintiqs, we successfully bridged the gap between traditional illustration and modern animation production.
